Thanks, Mom. With luck, maybe the flowers will last until Thanksgiving. Loved the pics you sent of your trumpet flower. It seems to have survived and thrived. 🙂

Thanks Ursula. The new flower caused the Muses to sing and viola!–another poem. 🙂

Thanks, Lana. Bright new life in a dying season feels like a second chance. Being off my regular schedule has allowed me to learn and play around with some new forms, including this one. Other favorites are the cascade, triolet, and kyrielle. 🙂

Wow….and I don’t even know what those are, lol. I’ll be waiting for you to show us. I agree about autumn flowers, it’s like a last hurrah before frost. I have beautiful roses and Lantana blooming right now.

Love the beautiful mental image of color exploding and hope shimmering. 🙂

Thanks, Quirky! I’ll get to enjoy it all over again in a few days when bud #2 opens.

I am glad I found your blog. Actually you found me by giving me a like. I like your ORCHID poem and I am looking forward to read more of your poetry.
